Dr. Volpe is an ophthalmologist at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and a Professor and Chairman in the department of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Volpe is known for the diagnosis and treatment of optic nerve disorders, as well as the evaluation and surgical treatment of double vision and eye misalignment.
He is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the North American Neuro-Ophthalmology Society.
His bibliography includes more than 150 publications and the nation’s textbook of neuro-ophthalmology. He has received several awards both as “Best Doctor” and for “National Teaching Excellence.”
