Dr. Kelly Maxwell is a Urologist at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and an Assistant Professor of Clinical Urology in the Department of Urology at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.
Dr. Maxwell was recruited from residency at Northwestern to join the private practice based in Arkes Pavilion that has been active at Northwestern Memorial Hospital since the 1920's. She focuses on developing a working relationship with patients and their primary physicians to facilitate the delivery of individualized urologic care. She was recognized for excellence in patient care with the Leander W. Riba Urology Award during her Chief Residency at Northwestern in 2009. Her clinical interests include stone disease, urologic cancer and general urology including prostate enlargement, female incontinence, infections and overactive bladder.
Dr. Maxwell is also very involved in resident teaching and co-chairs the Curriculum Committee that shapes and innovates the residents' education each year. She is an active member of the American Urological Association and the Chicago Urological Society and she has published five manuscripts and one boook chapter in the Urology.
