BIOGRAPHY


Dr. Spatafora is Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, and he supervises psychiatry resident trainees at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. He maintains a private psychiatric practice, seeing individuals both for psychotherapy and pharmacotherapy. His sub-specialty training is in Addiction Medicine, and he serves as the Medical Director of the National Football League Program for Substances of Abuse. In his clinical approach, he strives to understand individual patients based both upon science-based knowledge and upon the evidence that emerges within the care of the specific individual.
