Dr. Sameena Rahman is an OB/GYN at Northwestern Medicine and an Assistant Professor of clinical OB/GYN in the department of OBGYN.
Dr. Rahman received her medical degree at UNC-Chapel Hill School of Medicine in 2001, and completed her residency in 2005 with University of Massachusetts. She receivedher Bachelor of Science degree from Duke University in 1997.
Dr. Rahman is known for her interest in gynecology, women's health and international women's health as well as resident and medical school education.She has special interest in the treatment of postmenopausal women and transition, sexualdysfunction, aesthetic medicine, abnormal paps, minimally invasive gynecology, cosmetic gynecology and anti-aging.
She is an active member of ACOG, NAMS, ABOG and American College of Aesthetic and Cosmetic Physicians.
Her bibliography includes: multiple teaching awards while in residency and while on faculty at the University of Southern California and Berkeley School of Medicine, interest in simulation in resident education, research on domestic violence, Medical Missions and International Women's Health with World Health Organization and International Women's Group.
