Dr. Naidech completed medical school in Philadelphia. At Tulane University in New Orleans, he completed a combined residency in neurology and internal medicine, as well a Master of Science in Public Health (biostatistics) at Tulane University's School of Public Health. After residency, he completed a combined fellowship in NeuroCritical Care and Vascular Neurology at Columbia University in New York City.
Dr. Naidech is Medical Director of the Neuro/Spine-ICU at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, and specializes in the critical care of patients with life-threatening brain injuries. His research interests include subarachnoid hemorrhage (ruptured brain aneurysms), intracerebral hemorrhage, and ischemic stroke.
Dr Naidech is a frequent peer-reviewer for medical journals and has served in an advisory capacity to FDA.
