Dr. Kundu is an assistant professor of Dermatology and residency program director for the Department of Dermatology. She received her medical degree from Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine and completed her residency training in dermatology at the University of Illinois, where she served as chief resident.
Dr. Kundu's research focuses on the therapy of skin disorders that occur more frequently in individuals with skin of color, and she is the director of the Northwestern Center for Ethnic Skin. This center provides clinical and surgical care, patient education, cosmetic dermatology and clinical trials research.
Dr. Kundu is active on local and national advocacy committees, including the American Academy of Dermatology's Diversity Task Force and Core Curriculum Task Force. She is member of the Board of Directors for the Skin of Color Society.
